First Birthday

I had the honor of photographing the first birthday of this amazing child and his loving parents. Rather than a posed studio portrait, my aim was to capture the joy of the celebration as it unfolded. I wanted to provide the family with the opportunity to be present in the moment. Too often we are so caught up in capturing the memory of a special event that we end up missing out on the full experience.
